Interface Control Protocol

The Series C710 plug-in controllers are the key to our newer products including the advanced Series G2 product line. The C710 is available in three versions.

The C710 is field upgradeable by attaching your PC to the Soft-Load port where it is possible to upload a new firmware package provided by the factory. All firmware upgrades are delivered with the required serial cable to connect between the Soft-Load service port and a standard serial port. Also included is the US-LINK control link for remote control panels, and looping control in Primary/Secondary configurations.

Some units provide the capacity to install more than one C710 module within a given mainframe. The advantage of this capacity is to install different remote interfaces (GPIB and Serial) or common types of interfaces for redundant applications.
