BURBANK, CA, USA - December 30, 2018 - Universal Switching Corporation (uswi.com), the leading global manufacturer of signal switching and distribution products, announced today their new Series RSX4 Redundancy Switcher now includes expanded capability to 50GHz as well as new N-Type configurations and denser SMA quad section elements too. The company says the 1RU product features a variety of elements called "PUCs" that can either be installed in the RSX4 chassis, or located remotely with a simple extension cable. Up to two PUC elements can be installed and/or controlled by the RSX4 chassis, and each PUC element can have one, two or four A/B or transfer sections. The "PUCs" range in across the frequency spectrum pushing the frequency limits of switching, as well as more common 5G type applications for ATE.
